3D MODELs & ANIMATIONs, 2023
A series of 3D modelled and rendered botanical studies recreating snowdrops and lilies, flowers historically associated of romanticism, divinity and hope, transplanted into the cold, precise language of digital fabrication. Rendered with the same tools used to design infrastructure, corporate architecture and the hyper-masculine aesthetics of many mainstream video games, the work asks what happens to fragility and symbolism when processed through technological frameworks built for utility and bravado.
